In March, I got the opportunity to visit the Gladys Porter Zoo for the second time and it was still amazing. My daughter Ellie had a blast looking at all the newborn animals and walking around freely. These gorillas were the first animals that we got to see once we walked in. The baby was so clingy and loved the comfort of it's mommy.
The flamingos, I think, are one of the most beautiful creatures to photograph. Their graceful necks and wide wingspan just make these birds pop on a bright sunny day. I managed to catch this one drinking water. I love the action shot!
This is my beautiful daughter Ellie enjoying herself, she even got to feed the giraffes!
For being 85 degrees F, the animals were pretty active and very photogenic.
