Baby Harrison

Meet Baby Harrison
He is Michelle and Dave's first born.
He was such a little ham for the camera.  When he wasn't sleeping or eating or having a random diaper change, he was lovin the bright lights on him.
Here are a few from the shoot...

Thank you so much, Michelle and Dave, for allowing me capturing the next stage in life.
You are one beautiful family!!!

Findlay Family Fun!!

Shooting outdoors at a new location is very exhilarating and gives me a rush.
The Findlay family let me experience that rush.

It was a bright, sunny day and everyone was full of smiles and laughter.
We had a beautiful couple of hours playing and letting Abby be her cute little self.
It is wonderful to watch a family grow with love.  Here are some from that day!

Thank you to Joe and Carrie and little Abby for letting me, once again, capture the joy and love in your family.

Amber's Cake Smash

I was lucky to be able to shoot my first cake smash session this year for a little cutie named Amber.
Her family is such a sweet family and I was overjoyed to be a part of Amber's first birthday party.

I do have to admit, I did think she would have gotten a little messier than she did, but hey, it's a 1 year old....  They do what they want!

Here are a few from the party...

I didn't know cake was a comfortable seat.

A big thank you to Amber's family for, once again, letting me capture their beautiful daughter/granddaughter and welcoming me with open arms and generous hearts!

Summer Fun Time Shoot

This summer I created the Summer Fun Time Shoot.  I got some families together and we went and played in the park.  I brought a bubble machine, balloons, suckers, and let them go loose.  Talk about a fun time.  We went to Merritt Island here in Welland and had the backdrop of the beautiful Welland Canal.
Here are a couple shots from 2 of the families that joined me.

It was perfect timing for April, as her out of town brother was in town.  That made it 6 kids in one shoot, ranging from 8 months to 10 years old.  It was a riot.  Letting 6 kids loose with a bubble machine and balloons is amusing to watch.  Here are a couple of my favourites...

Bree and her daughter Paetynne were another family that indulged in the Summer Fun Shoot.  She was a little cutie.  We had a lot of fun playing with bubbles and suckers and calling the ducks over.
Here are some for your viewing pleasure!!!!

I want to thank everyone for making this summer's Fun Time Shoot a fun and successful event.
I had a lot of fun and look forward to it next summer.

Sunset Maternity Shoot

Chantal, Mike and Logan are so excited to have a little baby girl on the way.  Chantal never got the chance to have maternity photos done with Logan, since he made his debut early, so she was super happy to have them done this time.
We made our way to Old Port Dalhousie and did a sunset shoot on a beautiful Friday evening.
Here are a few of my favourites from that day!!

I wish you all the best with Alexis and I can't wait to meet your little bundle of joy.  I know Logan is going to be a great big brother!!!!!

Socheata and Andrew

When my good friend, of 17 years, asked me to photograph his wedding, I jumped at the chance.  I felt so honoured.  Andrew, or as I call him Goober, and Socheata were married in a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Civic Garden Complex in London, Ontario.
The rain decided to make an appearance, but it did not interfere with the days festivities.  The ceremony went off without a hitch and the indoor family shoot lasted just as long as the rain did.

We had a lot of fun shooting the wedding party shots and quite a few places to shoot them.
Socheata had her 3 sisters as her bridesmaids and they had a great, supportive bond.  Such beautiful ladies and beautiful families to boot.

I had a great time shooting this wedding and creating beautiful memories for the two of you.
I wish you all the best in the future and enjoy your lives together as husband and wife.
Congratulations!!

Amanda & John

Amanda and John were married June 30th, 2012 at the Hilton in Niagara on the Lake.
When I met this couple, I was super stoked to shoot their wedding.  I knew that this wasn't going to be your average wedding; so much thought and love went into the planning.
The guests were entertained by instrumental music while waiting.. I noticed it was Weezer and other bands you wouldn't think would be instrumental.
The music theme was kept throughout.  Guests received favours of bags of rock candy with tags reading "You Rock, thanks for sharing our day!"
All the little subtleties made the day.  The guests put their cards into a guitar case and the bouquet had musical note ribbon on it.
I was so happy when Amanda mentioned that music brought them together and agreed to have guitars in their photos.  Here are some from that day....

Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wonderful day.
I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!!
