Findlay Family at Happy Rolf's

Shooting the Findlay family always means it is going to be a fun time!!
We met at Happy Rolf's Animal Farm in St. Catharines, on a beautiful day.
The dynamic this family has is just fun to shoot.  They are up for anything and sometimes they come up with some of the funnest ideas too (you'll see what I mean later)!!
I must say it's so wonderful to see this little girl grow up; I have been taking her pictures since she was just a couple weeks old.  I can't wait to see what the future brings.

A Birthday Party Surprise!

Alexis and Kevin contacted me with an unusual, yet really fun idea.

They were planning a 'surprise' birthday party for Kevin but in all reality it was a grand surprise for the party guests.  They showed up in a bridal dress and tuxedo and in turn surprised the guests by getting married.  

Alexis asked me to do the photo guest book portion.

I have to say that the group was a fun bunch and had a blast during their turn.

Easter Bunnies Shoot 2013

Easter is such a fun time for kids and live bunnies sure can put a smile on their little faces!

This year I had the opportunity to shoot with 3 live bunnies; Smokey, Sophie and Dash.

Despite the fact that they are quick little buggers, we had a great time letting the kids explore and pet and cuddle the cute, furry creatures.

It's Christmas again!!! 

Ansel and Annaliese were such cute kids during this shoot.  

I decided to get back to basics and keep it simple for this round of photos.

The kids had fun with simple props and it made their personalities shine even brighter.

Christmas Fun with the Joneses

Christmas time, for me, is a time of family fun and spending quality time with the people you love.

Candice and her family came to the studio to have that family fun time.

With three kids and one on the way, the studio was a hustlin' and a bustlin'.

Avery and Dex

What a way to start off the month, than with a little blog about my son.

Every now and then I will post some pictures of my kids, but these pics are great.  I just had to put them up.

A couple of years ago when my son started daycare, he met a little girl named Avery.  Dex and Avery always played together and he would come home upset if she did not make it that day or they were in a fight (which rarely happened).  I used to always joke that they would get married one day!

Well, at Christmas in 2012, Avery and her mom came over to my house and I couldn't resist a photo shoot of the two.  I think they have been 'dating' for almost 2 years now and if you ask Dex now who his girlfriend is, he will answer Avery!

Here are some from that day.  It was hard enough to pick 3 to send to Avery's mom, so you could imagine how hard it was to pick these out.

The laughter and smiles emitting from these two that day was amazing.  I really hope they have a life long friendship because they have so much fun together.

Maybe one day I'll be able to show these pictures at their wedding, but in the mean time, I will just sit back and enjoy the laughter and smiles!

Baby Abby

I have known Abby for almost 3 years now, and she is a doll.  You may recognized her from the Findlay Family Fun shoot, so I thought I would get in the time machine and show you her newborn photos.  She is just as cute then as she is now.

Here are a few that I like and one that Joe's family finds hilarious!

Baby Joshua

*Drumroll please*

Introducing Joshua.....

He may have been a few days late, but he made his entrance and Mom and Dad were home safe and sound that night!

I got to visit at 6 days old and he was such a little cutie.  He was so well behaved settled down so quick.  Yes, he did have his moments, but don't all babies when their getting their photos taken?

Here are a few from the day.

I know Amanda and Derek are over the moon with Joshua.  A big congratulations goes out to Noah for becoming a big brother!!  I know he will be a caring and loving big brother!
